FLEXINSPECT

FlexInspect enables you to inspect virtually any object or asset, any way you want, with the help of a handheld computer. It can connect to your existing asset database (for instance to HP Perigrine, IBM Maximo of Infor Datastream), and export the results to for instance Excel and Business Intelligence reporting tools. This way you get the most out of your existing systems, while your inspection processes become mobile and more efficient.

Inspection defenition before you start
A consulting partner helps you to model your inspectionprocess, test procedures and test details and translate those into inspection definitions, to be used as a basis for inspection on the handhelds. Creating good inspection definitions that fit your processes and inspections is key for the successful use of mobile inspection. Of course you can update and add to the inspection definitions after the introduction of mobile inspection, as you use FlexInspect for more and more processes or assets.

Update & merge
At the start of mobile inspection, you merge the inspection definitions with your existing asset database to create the inspection assignments for your inspectors, and to provide them with an up-to-date inspection history. You can update inspection assignments at any time, as the asset database or the inspection definitions change.

Inspect & collect
Your inspectors inspect assets and collect inspection results with the help of the handcomputer (PDA). Their PDA’s are automatically updated with inspection definitions, object and installation data, inspection history and the inspector’s own data and planning. They inspect the assets with the PDA in their hand. They zoom in to the required level of details on pictures, or even further with checklists, and record the inspection results on the PDA. The PDA automatically synchronizes the inspection results to the database.

Results & reports
You can closely monitor and access the inspection results as the inspectors work on their jobs. You can create concise management reports on the inspection results, or export the results to, for instance, Excel or Business Intelligence reporting tools. The inspection results are also exported to the asset database to update the inspection history.
