Kemkens, a leading specialist in sustainable installations and the trusted service partner of Essent, is taking a significant step forward by migrating to the Sigmax Connect cloud. With over 500 field service employees in North Brabant, Zeeland, and South Gelderland, Kemkens delivers energy solutions like central heating boilers, heat pumps, solar energy, ventilation, and insulation, along with comprehensive service, maintenance, and inspections. For over ten years, they have relied on Sigmax’s Connect field service software. To continue using it optimally in the future, Kemkens is now migrating from the current local on-premise solution to Sigmax Connect in the cloud.
Kemkens’ field service teams use Connect daily, whether it’s maintenance of a boiler, installing a heat pump, or cleaning a ventilation system. Each day starts with reviewing planned work orders (visits), which can include multiple tasks. Field service employees check their materials and, once ready, navigate to the site using the integrated Maps tool. Upon arrival, they follow a structured workflow in the mobile app, which guides them through steps like adding photos and completing questionnaires. The process ends with a summary in Connect, approved by the customer with a signature for billing.
Kemkens has continuously grown in terms of the types of activities and the number of field service employees. Connect, as a software solution with specific customer configuration, seamlessly aligns with this growth. This makes the intensive collaboration between Sigmax and Kemkens very successful since 2014. Over the past few years, a mobile invoicing calculator and (re)planning module have been jointly developed.
Kemkens Director Jitse den Bieman says: “With Sigmax’s stable and configurable solution, we have been able to quickly respond to changes in the market and the work of our technicians for years.”
The next step forward in this changing market and customer need is migrating to the Sigmax Connect cloud, replacing Kemkens’ current on-premise solution. By doing so, Kemkens specialists can always make optimal use of the latest release of Connect. The focus in the coming period will be on this migration project, which has already had its kickoff.
